Academic & Nonfiction Copy Editing
Best for: Manuscripts that are structurally complete and ready for detailed refinement.
Copy editing focuses on clarity, correctness, and consistency at the sentence level while ensuring alignment with the appropriate style guide.

Proofreading focuses on identifying residual typographical and formatting errors after copy editing or layout.
